Merlin is next to The Coppleridge Inn, nestled atop a rolling hill in the Dorset countryside, with views over the ancient Duncliffe Woods and the occasional sheep! You can enjoy your own outdoor seating area, with a fire pit and wifi.

The Coppleridge is a 4-star AA-rated family-run inn set in 10 acres of woodland and meadows overlooking Hardy's Blackmore Vale and sitting in the tranquil Dorset village of Motcombe, two miles north of the charming market town of Shaftesbury.
The pub is a beautifully converted 18th-century farm set in a pretty courtyard. It boasts a cosy wood-panelled bar and several separate, discrete dining areas. Local produce is sourced for the excellent meals, and there is generally a good selection of real ales on tap.
