The Crossings Inn

Roweltown, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA6 6LG, United Kingdom

The Crossings Inn is a rural pub and restaurant that prides itself on an authentic ‘Farm to Plate’ offer. The food is made by local farmers, with home-grown vegetables and locally sourced produce. The pub offers both pool and darts, so feel free to ask any of the staff to borrow a pool cue or a set of darts and play away!

Situated in northern Cumbria, the Crossings is surrounded by Kielder Forest to the north and the North Pennines AONB to the south. From the Crossings you can explore Bewcastle Cross, Lanercost Priory, Hadrian’s Wall and Carlisle Castle. If you prefer your exploring on two wheels there is cycle route 72, otherwise known as Hadrian’s Cycleway, which is a 170 mile exploration in Britain’s past with magnificent coastal views, Roman forts and Hadrian’s Wall.
